Qualified tutor - High School and University - Gold Coast

am a Journalism and Public Relations graduate currently completing my Masters in Event
Management at Griffith University, Gold Coast. I have also worked as a journalist and media
manager for a number of years.

Subjects in which I am able to tutor include some high school, predominantly English. As well as
university level Business Subjects - Management Concepts, Employment Relations, Information
Systems, Accounting Principles, Business Communication, and Cyber Studies.

And university level Arts subjects - Creative Writing, Introduction to Marketing, Youth and Society,
Effective Art, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Law, Media Relations, Broadcast Journalism,
Campaign Strategies, News and Information Gathering, and News Writing and Ethics.

Essay construction, research gathering and referencing are also strong points. I make it a priority
that my students understand correct grammar, spelling and sentence structure, particularly if
English is their second language.

English is my first language though I am more than willing to teach people of diverse backgrounds.
However, I have not competed TESOL.

I am patient and sincere, and my teaching methods see that my students understand materials and
relate their learning to real world scenarios so that it is relevant to them.

My hours are flexible and I am able to tutor either at Griffith University or in your home if needed.

Experience
Though my tutoring experience is limited, I have no doubt that my university qualifications and industry
experience has supplied me with the knowledge and capacity to successfully tutor the above fields.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts with majors in Journalism and Public Relations.
