It was then sandblasted back to bare metal. The car had very minimal rust as it was, but the very few parts than any sign of rust were cut out and plated, or the panels replaced. Once the ute was rust free it was completely fishalined, this will prevent any future rust what so ever. The chassis itself was also sandblasted and the rust was cut out and fully plated and restored to original conditioned. It was fishalined aswell. The shell and the chassis was then primed to seal it and keep it rust free. The chassis was then completely sprayed with a gloss black hammer tone finish. All of this work was completed by a professional classic car restorer. The shell was the painted by a professional car painter. It is a metallic blue. The ute was then built from the ground up by myself and my father (we own a mechanical business, and are both qualified mechanics). Here is a list of the stuff done to the ute: -350 vortec chev crate motor -5 speed manual supra gearbox -Full 2 and a half inch mandrel bend exhaust with 3 and a half inch dump pipes -Tru trac system on the front of the motor (air con, power steering, alternator, 1 belt drives all pulleys, all chrome) -All new bonnet hinges and latches and door handles and locks and window winders and ignition barrel with new keys. -Dark side window tint. -100L stainless drop tank wrapped in chrome sheets. -Complete steel tray made with timer floor and wheel arches coming through the floor. (all done by professional metal fabricators) -18x8 Boyd Coddington Junk Yard Dog wheels. -Full wiring harness and all switches and plugs all brand new (done by professional auto electrician) -Classic air conditioning system under the dash. -Alpine speakers and tweeters fitted (just havent fitted a head unit, apline amplifier included) -Full interior done by professional upholstery shop. -Drift steering wheel and seats, all brand new. -New front window -All new lights and LED lights at the back. -TUFFEST number plates (included with the car) -Tailshaft is all brand new and balanced -All new guages inside which are very accurate. -Brand new centre console -Brand new front bumper
